The objective of this seminar is to empower students with industry-ready vocational skills in Graphic Design through practical, hands-on learning in visual communication, digital design tools, and creative workflows. The seminar aims to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and real-world industry requirements by providing participants with practical exposure to graphic design, branding, UI/UX, and digital media.

The seminar will also highlight career opportunities in the creative and digital industry, encourage creativity and innovation, and equip learners with the skills and confidence required to pursue opportunities in employment, freelancing, and entrepreneurship in today’s competitive job market.

The teaching methodology for the seminar was designed to create an interactive, practical, and student-focused learning environment by combining basic theoretical concepts with demonstrations and hands-on activities. The approach aimed to introduce students to graphic design, visual communication, digital design tools, and creative career opportunities in a simple and engaging manner.

The session began with a formal welcome to the Principal and vocational teachers, followed by a brief introduction to the objectives of the seminar. The importance of vocational and digital skills, along with their relevance to today’s creative industry, was explained to the students.

An interactive discussion was then conducted with the 150 participating students from the Arts and Commerce streams. Students were encouraged to share their interests, existing knowledge, and understanding of graphic design. This helped create an open learning environment and encouraged active participation from the beginning.

The theoretical session introduced students to the fundamentals of graphic design, visual communication, branding, digital media, and emerging design trends. Concepts were explained through simple examples and visual references to make the subject easy to understand.
